  22. How are you logging in?  Did you give a CONNECT command?  Or are you using

  24. this, ranging from low-level communication matters (the modem speeds don't
  25. agree, flow-control deadlock, etc) to pilot error.  Please give more
  26. details about the procedure you are using and the equipment involved.
  27. For example, what is connected to the modem that is on the answering end?
